I am excited to have been invited to spend all January as Artist in Residence at the Oriel y Parc centre in St Davids. Pembrokeshire, home of the National Museum of Wales and where some of the Graham Sutherland Collection is housed.
It will be wonderful to have the opportunity to sit working out on the Pembrokeshire cliff edges for a month, with a warm dry studio to retreat to.
In April 2020 I will be showing work at the Rye Art Gallery. “Embodied Land’ is a solo show of work initiated during my artist residency in New Zealand, earlier in the year. Since my return to the UK I have visited Pembrokeshire twice to continue the development of an ongoing two year project.
In September 2020 I will be travelling to Ireland,I am privileged to have been granted a residency at the Cill Rialiag artists retreat where I will be staying in a stone cottage on a cliff edge at the most western point in Europe.
In early 2021 I will return to new Zealand where I have been invited to spend another month as an artist in residence with the wonderful Earthskin Trust.
